RTS has also added the capability to test your cable assemblies and to test hard-disk drive performance in your enclosure.

EM RELAYS

RTS uses parametric and life testing for EM relays to find a relationship between quality and reliability for a specific user application. Once this relationship is established, 100% inspection against meaningful test limits can be very effective in screening out relays that are most likely to fail prematurely. RTS uses statistical methods for life predictions using Reliasoft's Weibull++ for reliability modeling.

CABLES

The testing techniques for cables are very similar to those used for relays, with continuity, insulation resistance, and dielectric breakdown being important measurements. RTS can test many types of cable configurations with IR and dielectric measurements up to 1000 VDC or 1500 VAC.

HARD-DISK DRIVES

Disk drive performance is affected by vibration from adjacent drives or other vibration sources within the enclosure. RTS can quantify the performance of each drive in your system enclosure. RTS can also provide a thermal profile within your enclosure. Hot spots will reduce drive margin, increasing error recovery and reducing performance.
